Sourcing Manager in Eveleth, MN

**** We need someone with solid
strategic sourcing in heavy industry or mining and supply chain related
certification. **** Principal Functions The Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing
initiatives for the Iron Ore business unit. Responsibilities include
management of the end-to-end sourcing process for a group of commodities,
development and execution of commodity strategies, and negotiation of supply
agreements. Commodities may include capital or operating expenses and
materials or contract services. The Sourcing Manager will work with
suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify solutions that support
operational requirements while reducing Total Cost of Ownership. The
position will require identification and delivery of cost savings and
accountability for Procurement/Supply Chain performance metrics. Education Needed Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain
Management or related field required. MBA preferred. Professional
certification preferred (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM) Experience Needed 5 to 10 years of professional experience in supply chain
management, procurement, and/or engineering required. Experience in mining
